This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care within a 174-bed facility that serves the eastern Illinois community. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative care team model, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

The 174-bed OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center provides comprehensive healthcare for the community of Danville, IL, along with the nearby region.
The facility is part of the OSF HealthCare system, an integrated healthcare network operated by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis.
Case assignments include General, OB, ortho, and ophthalmology.
The care team model focuses on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.
Team Leadership is provided by James Norris, Chief Anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities

Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtain and/or verify patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Compensation

Salary: $550,000 annually
Sign-on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $75,000
