Anesthesiologist

Nuvance Health is seeking full-time Anesthesiologists to join their growing employed group in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut. This opportunity involves covering a variety of cases, including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics, across multiple hospitals. The role offers a chance to join a large, established program with teaching opportunities for residents and students, supported by a highly competitive compensation package.

Practice Info

• Join a group of approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs.
• Covers a variety of cases, including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics.
• Provides 24/7 coverage at Danbury, Norwalk, New Milford, and Sharon Hospitals.
• Danbury Hospital is a 456-bed Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
• Norwalk Hospital is a 366-bed Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year.
• New Milford Hospital is an 85-bed community hospital and Sharon Hospital is a 78-bed community hospital.

Responsibilities

• Cover a variety of cases, including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics.
• Teach residents, medical students, and CRNA students.

Compensation

• Salary: $430,000-$600,000.
• A generous sign-on bonus and relocation allowance are provided.
• Highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives, allowances for CME and dues expenses, and malpractice coverage.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time call positions.
• Part-time and per diem scheduling options will also be considered.

Requirements

• MD/DO.
• Board certified/eligible in Anesthesia.
• New and recent graduates are welcome to apply, including 2027 graduates.
