Anesthesiologist

Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned and clinician-led group, is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join their expanding team at Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA. This role offers a competitive W2 compensation of $575,000 annually, a $25,000 commencement bonus, and 10 weeks of PTO. The position provides an opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment within a Level II Trauma Center, offering diverse case volumes and a collaborative care team model.

• Care Team Model (currently 5 physicians and 8 CRNAs)
• Safety Net Hospital
• 4 ORs, 282 beds, Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU
• CRNAs handle non-trauma ORs and OB Call (24-hour)
• Total Cases 6,980, OB Cases 1,142, Cath Lab Cases 1,500, GI Cases 579, IR Cases 1,050
• Anesthesia providers support a wide range of surgical services including Level II Trauma & Emergency Surgery, Advanced Cardiac & STEMI Cases, Obstetric, Maternal & Neonatal Care, Burn Center & Trauma Support, General, Orthopedic, Vascular, ENT, and Urologic Procedures

Compensation

• W2 compensation: $575,000 annually
• OB 24-hour call (pager) $4,500
• $25,000 Commencement Bonus
• Relocation: Up to $10,000
• Referral bonus of up to $5,000 if a referred colleague is hired

• Required Hours 55/hours per week
• Shifts: 8, 10, 12-hour shifts
• Trauma OR1 24/7 coverage
• OR2 8-10 hours shifts
• OB Call (24-hour)
