Anesthesiologist

Kaiser Permanente Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an Anesthesiologist (Independent Contractor, 1099) to join their well-established anesthesia teams across Modesto, Manteca, and Stockton Medical Centers in California’s Central Valley. This role offers a unique combination of flexibility, autonomy, and consistent case volume across both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings. Providers will work across a diverse case mix while enjoying a collaborative care team model and predictable schedules.

• Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center settings in Modesto, Manteca, and Stockton, CA
• Collaborative care team model with strong perioperative support and streamlined OR workflows
• Diverse case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, OB, urology, ENT, vascular, and outpatient procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

• $325/hour

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
