Anesthesiologist - Bon Secours - St. Francis Medical Center - Full Time

Position Requirements

Opportunity for Anesthesiologist supporting not‑for‑profit Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Midlothian, VA – 20 minutes from Richmond.

Case Assignments

General surgery, cardiac, ENT, urology, vascular, orthopedic (adult and pediatric), OB, gynecologic, spine neurosurgery, pediatric, and plastic surgery.

Shifts

No nights.

Good day‑to‑day work.

Flexible shifts – good work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Responsible for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures.
• Pre‑anesthesia assessment.
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor the patient’s physiological condition.
• Perform clinical intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
• Currently licensed as a physician.

Total Rewards

Salary: $490K
