Location: Nashville, TN
Assignment Length: 6 months
Schedule: 4x10s weekly
Start: January 2027, as soon as credentialed (approx. 90 days)
The Opportunity This 6-month locum CAA assignment puts you right in the Nashville metro at one of the largest anesthesia programs in the Southeast. You'll step into a medical direction care-team model at a high-acuity hospital running 80+ operating rooms. A strong fit for an experienced CAA looking for big-hospital case variety on a four-day week.
Position Details
- Case mix: neuro, spine, thoracic/lung, vascular, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, healthy pediatrics, women's services
- No sick pediatrics or neonates
- All surgical services performed except transplants; pump cases covered by a dedicated cardiac team
- No block responsibilities
- Cross-credentialing at a second Nashville-area hospital
- EMR: Meditech / Medaxion
What You'll Need
- Active CAA certification (NCCAA) and graduate of an accredited CAA program
- 3-4+ years of clinical CAA experience, including precepting
- Tennessee licensure (or eligibility)
- ACLS/BLS
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the practice
