Mobile Anesthesiologist
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a pediatric dentist.
- Work with pediatric patients during office‑based surgery days to deliver intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
- Collaborate with pediatric dentists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
- Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program.
- Current, valid medical license in good standing.
- Certifications required: PALS, BLS, DEA, and others as applicable.
- Demonstrated experience delivering anesthesia, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia, in a clinical setting.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work closely with dental teams and other healthcare professionals.
