Role: Anesthesia Technician – Hospital-Based | Torrance, CA

Location: Major public teaching hospital in the South Bay area

Schedule: Full-time | Contract | Various Shifts

Pay: $30/hour

Overview

Join a respected healthcare team supporting surgical services at a high-acuity hospital. As an Anesthesia Technician, you’ll play a vital role in preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment for a wide range of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and test anesthesia equipment for routine and complex surgical cases
• Clean, disinfect, stock, and maintain anesthesia supplies and workstations
• Assist with equipment transport, calibration, and emergency replacement requests
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues; coordinate with biomedical teams
• Maintain logs for inspections, inventory, and preventive maintenance
• Support operating room staff and anesthesia providers before and during procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in a healthcare setting

Certification

• ASATT certification required (must be active and unrestricted)
