The Anesthesia Technician works under the supervision of the CRNA with the support of the Anesthesia Administration and Anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities
- Works under the supervision of the CRNA with the support of the Anesthesia Administration and Anesthesiologist.
- Provides ancillary duties and assists with patient care as directed.
- Assists Anesthesia staff by preparing supplies; calibrating and checking anesthesia equipment; and programming devices.
- Operates Cell Saver and other specialized equipment.
- Cleans and maintains designated areas and equipment.
- Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise
- Experience in clinical perioperative care is required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
- Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.
Education And Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree in a state approved Anesthesia Technology program preferred, Surgical Technology program, Medical Assistant program is preferred.
- Certification: None.
- Years of relevant experience: 0 to 2 years is preferred.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
