Supporting the coding QA process, the full-time remote Anesthesia Coding QA Specialist III will conduct coder education, review clinical documentation for compliance, and collaborate on performance improvement plans while ensuring coding accuracy and quality. Key responsibilities Conducts coder QA and education as part of identified remediation Collaborates with management on performance improvement plans related to billing compliance or coding issues Prepares and presents coding and regulatory updates, maintaining operational workflow pathways Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education or equivalent hands-on experience National certification and a minimum of 5 years' experience in physician coding, particularly in anesthesia/pain management National coding certification (AHIMA, AAPC) required Experience in compliance auditing and anesthesia specialty coding education preferred Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
