We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android applications.
- Build responsive, user‑friendly interfaces with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Integrate REST APIs, third‑party services, and local databases.
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
- Write unit and UI tests and debug issues.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.
- Manage app releases and updates through Google Play Console.
- Follow coding standards and modern Android development practices.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of hands‑on Android development experience.
- Experience publishing or maintaining production Android applications.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging and other Firebase services.
- Knowledge of advanced performance profiling tools.
- Exposure to multiple Android UI frameworks (Compose and XML).
