We are seeking a Senior Android Developer with strong experience in native Android development using Java and Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have experience leading complex projects, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-quality mobile applications in an Agile environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize native Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Lead technical design and development for medium to large-scale Android projects.
- Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
- Analyze requirements, develop technical solutions, and participate in Agile/Scrum development.
- Prototype and evaluate new technologies, features, and development approaches.
- Manage code, configurations, releases, and environment controls across multiple environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development and production issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure application quality through testing, debugging, performance optimization, and code reviews.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience developing native Android applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin.
- Experience delivering and maintaining applications published on the Google Play Store.
- Experience serving as a technical lead on complex projects.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JavaScript and React Native.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and server-side applications using Node.js or similar frameworks.
