Anatomic / Surgical Pathologist – Part Time / Acupath Laboratories, Inc. – Plainview, NY

Position Overview
- Surgical pathology case sign-out (General surgical pathology, GI, GU, breast, biopsy, excision, and resection cases)
- Review may include screening and sign out cytopathology cases(non-gyn)
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance and performance improvement activities, departmental meetings, and facility-wide training as needed
- Work closely with the Medical Director and laboratory management team to ensure completion of cases within the required turnaround time (TAT)
- Direct collaboration with referring physicians
Qualifications
- MD with Board Certification / Eligibility (AP/CP)
- NYS Medical License
- Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology required
- 3-5 years of experience preferred
Compensation
- Up to $170,000 (commensurate with experience & subspecialty) – Based on 20 hours / week
