Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Anatomic Pathologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Kings County Hospital operates a world‑renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, serving 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to uphold its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details
- Review and sign out surgical pathology biopsies, excision, and resection cases
- Review and sign out cytopathology cases
- Prioritize malignant cases and submit all first‑time malignant cases for daily intradepartmental consensus conference for peer review and concordance
- Complete cases within the required turnaround time (TAT) at Kings County Hospital
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance, performance improvement activities and programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide training as needed
- Involve in processing of surgical pathology service management and quality improvement
- Instruct residents on the service of general surgical pathology and cytopathology
Qualifications
- NY State Medical License
- Completion of an accredited residency/fellowship in Pathology
- 1+ years of experience preferred – new graduating residents and fellows are encouraged to apply
- AP/CP Board Certified or Board Eligible
