Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist

This facility seeks an Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist for full-time locum tenens coverage starting January 17 on an ongoing basis. The provider will handle surgical pathology sign-out, cytopathology duties, and frozen section call requirements in a supportive clinical environment. This opportunity allows clinicians to experience a scenic mountainous region offering a wide variety of outdoor and recreational activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time diagnostic pathology coverage on a day shift basis
• Participate in weeknight and weekend frozen section call
• Perform surgical pathology sign-out across a broad range of case types including GI biopsies, skin excisions, breast, prostate, colon, GYN, thyroid, salivary, liver, lung, lymph node, and additional specimen types
• Perform cytopathology duties including GYN (Pap smears), non-GYN, and FNA case review and interpretation
• Cut frozen sections only if called in after hours
