Compensation
Annual Base Salary: $270,000* (Board Eligible); $280,000* (Board Certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation is available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The estimated total annual compensation package is $392,520** (Board Eligible) and $403,520** (Board Certified).

Responsibilities
- Practice the full spectrum of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in a dynamic, academic hospital environment.
- Interpret and sign out a wide variety of surgical pathology, cytology, and frozen section cases with a high level of diagnostic autonomy.
- Perform intraoperative consultations, autopsies, renal biopsy adequacy assessments, and critical result reporting while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Provide medical oversight and consultation to the clinical laboratories, including hematology, urinalysis, body fluid analysis, blood smear review, and reference laboratory testing.
- Supervise and mentor Pathologists' Assistants, laboratory staff, residents, fellows, and medical students, with dedicated opportunities for teaching and academic involvement.
- Collaborate with laboratory leadership to support operational excellence, accreditation standards, and proficiency testing across the laboratory.

Qualifications
- Active New York State Medical License.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience.
