To support a mission-driven organization focused on higher education, the full-time remote Analytics Engineer will evolve the shared data warehouse and implement data governance standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver insight-ready data. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain Common App's reporting schema, refactoring tables and pipelines for performance and cost efficiency Design and implement automated data quality frameworks, including monitoring and alerting for critical datasets Collaborate with Data Governance to ensure technical enforceability of governance rules within the enterprise data platform Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Statistics, or a related field 5-8 years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering within an enterprise data warehouse environment Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling, including dimensional modeling and modern data transformation approaches Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines in cloud data warehouse platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery) Proficiency in Python for data engineering and analytics workloads
