As a full-time remote Analytics Engineer on the Data Engineering Team, the successful candidate will lead the development of a comprehensive technical strategy for revitalizing data services and tooling, focusing on building scalable systems and a self-service analytics platform while ensuring the performance and reliability of data infrastructure. Key responsibilities Lead the technical architecture of the semantic and metrics layer, including infrastructure deployment and API design Manage the core governance infrastructure and oversee self-service analytics platform operations Drive performance optimization of Amazon Redshift and maintain platform health, including uptime monitoring and observability alerting Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Five plus years of experience in data engineering or platform engineering with ownership of production data infrastructure Deep experience tuning Amazon Redshift for performance and optimizing query execution Experience administering a data catalog or governance platform like Atlan or similar Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java, with a focus on automation and engineering efficiency
