We're looking for an Analytics Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in the West Houston/Katy, TX area. The Analytics Engineer will be part of the Data Analytics group but will be aligned with a business unit.
Responsibilities
- Work with business unit stakeholders to understand their data analytics needs
- Develop requirements for data analytics solution
- Crafting the solutions that will enable the business unit to utilize their data as they desire
- Build a two-year road map for that for that work product
Qualifications
- 3 plus years of experience in data analytics
- Domain knowledge in one of the following; Finance, Legal, HR, Supply Chain, Merch, or Retail Store
- Experience using Power BI and Looker or Cube
- Strong understanding of BigQuery
- familiarity with DBT
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Data Mesh Architecture
- Work experience in a decentralized environment, following a standard data governance
