Senior/ Principal Data Architect
Location: Remote but must go onsite in Boston or NY 1-2 times a month for workshops.
Project Scope:
- Migrating customer data from Santander to OpenBank Platform.
- There is a lack of a physical model and logical in place. This team has been in place for a long time and primarily worked as a BI shop and they want to bring that logic over to the schematic layer with the physical model. This person will put the logical model in place, and the data product team will put the physical model in place.
- Last part of this role will include moving off oracle and SQL server to snowflake. Wants this person to look at what they need to bring in to drive the work that needs to happen.
- Taking a domain based architecture approach.

High-Level Individual Duties:
- Strategically linking everything together, interfacing with data product team, senior leaders and directors.
- Data governance tooling and implementation
- Partner with manager to lay roadmap for data migration and data transformation
- Will be responsible for Erwin modeling diagrams (only hands on work this person will be doing, about 30% of the work), and will send off diagrams to data modeling team.
- Moving off oracle and SQL server to snowflake.
