About the Role
A Chicago-based preclinical biotech is seeking an in-house Analytical Scientist to develop and validate analytical methods supporting its therapeutic pipeline. You'll build out core assay capabilities from the ground up, working closely with R&D as the company advances toward IND-enabling studies.
What You'll Do
- Develop and validate HPLC methods
- Perform particle characterization (light scattering-based techniques)
- Run and develop absorption-based assays and ELISAs
- Establish analytical method validation protocols and documentation
- Partner with R&D and quality to ensure methods meet regulatory expectations
What We're Looking For
- 5-10 years of analytical experience in drug development
- Hands-on experience with HPLC method development/validation
- Experience with light scattering and particle characterization techniques
- Experience with absorption spectroscopy and ELISA-based assays
- Comfortable as a hands-on IC in a small-company setting
