You'll get to:Fully support and comply with the SFS objectives and projects.Assist Engineering in defining and maintaining all specs (Raw, in-process and Finished Goods)Responsible for communicating quality standards to manufacturing and quality auditorsAssist with the development of D&I&M FMEA for all processesPerform PPAPs SQA-015 Quality BookDefine, establish, implement, train and monitor quality plans for incoming inspection, in process inspections, and finished goods inspections. Includes test equipment, gages, inspection procedures, frequency of inspections, forms, records, boundary samples, masters, visual aidsResponsible for performing all measurement systems analysis (MSAs)Coordinate and communicate all quality issues to appropriate personnel and assist in establishing countermeasuresManage day to day quality issues on production floorMaintain quality standards of parts produced in the area, to include: watching quality indicators as a measure of compliance with standards, instill a quality-minded attitude in all department personnel, work with the Value Stream on specific problem areas, attention of scrap/rework figures to identify quality problem areasResponsible for maintaining IMDS; responsible for monitoring and developing supplier quality, responsible for leading sorting activities, responsible for disposition of suspect product, responsible for improving First Pass-Defective Parts per Million, Scrap % metricsDrive root cause corrective action on identified issues (customer complaints, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, and management systems)Adhere to all ISO requirements Oversee ISO9000 paperwork to see that it is correctly done and properly handled, to include: Process Guarantee Sheets, FSA audit Plans, Gage CalibrationAssist in management of departmental spending by monitoring spending reports to identify unfavorable variances and taking appropriate action where possible.
