Invitation Homes is a place where possibility lives.The Analyst, Asset Management is responsible for providing research, analysis, reporting and development to support the Asset and Investment Management Group.What You’ll Do Prepare financial analyses and reportsAssist with property level asset management decisions and implementation of Asset Management programsAbility to underwrite investment properties, establishing monthly rental rate, property value and required capital investmentProvide support to the capital allocation, budgeting and planning processMaintain a thorough understanding of company’s financial information systems including the ability to write financial reports and make inquiries for dataPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal and external stakeholdersForecast, analyze and provide summary of organizational trendsCreate specified ad hoc reports, graphs and charts of financial dataDevelop and update models to provide analysis for various financial conditions related to Asset and Investment Management, Accounting and OperationsProvide ongoing tracking, reporting and analysis of trends in various operating areasPrepare and analyze Daily Cash Analysis reports and weekly Cash ForecastingPrepare and analyze Consolidated Reporting to InvestorProvide backup to Accounting when requiredResearch real estate markets for potential opportunitiesAnalyze and prepare recommendations for improving investment and management processesMonitor and evaluate financial and operating results on a periodic basis as requiredTrack economic and performance indicators within real estate marketsTimely interpretation of data for recommendationsComplete projects assigned by Asset Management leadershipWho We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related fieldQuantitative degree or supportive coursework preferred0 to 2+ years of experience in residential asset management or institutional real estate; Single family preferred0 to 2+ years of experience in extensive, detailed data analysis and reportingCurrent driver’s license and automobile insuranceComprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisionsAbility to create and design general marketing pieces for in-house productionKnowledge of current single-family customer product demands, drivers, and trendsProficiency utilizing Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and basic OS toolsProficiency in a programming language (R or Python preferred)Strong data and financial modeling skills requiredExperience utilizing Salesforce for workflow and approval managementExperience utilizing Yardi or similar property management softwareExperience utilizing Tableau, PowerBI or other data visualization softwareKnowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (SQL) beneficialExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and get along with othersProfessional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to facilitate presentations or speak in public to large groups of peopleStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to multi-task and maintain flexibility and creativity in a variety of situationsAbility to analyze and resolve problemsAbility to perform intermediate mathematical functionsAbility to set and meet goals and consistently meet deadlinesAbility to maintain confidentialityWhy Invitation Homes We stand for flexibility, opportunity, and a home that people can make their own.
