PSI is seeking an AMOC Senior Database Administrator III to provide full-time, on-site support to the CBP Air and Marine Operations Center.This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing database environments that support C4I systems, AMOSS, ISR platforms, and associated mission applications, ensuring data availability, integrity, security, and performance in alignment with operational requirements.Essential Functions and Job ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain, and optimize database systems supporting AMOSS, ISR, and C4I environmentsMonitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategiesEnsure data integrity, availability, and security across all database platformsPerform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgradesSupport backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and executionTroubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in mission-critical environmentsManage database access controls and ensure compliance with security requirementsSupport integration of databases with applications, systems, and data sourcesCollaborate with engineering and development teams to support system enhancements and data requirementsDevelop and maintain database documentation, procedures, and standardsSupport data migration, replication, and synchronization effortsEnsure compliance with configuration management and change control processesMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; experience may substituteExperience supporting maintenance and sustainment of C4I, AMOSS, or ISR systems in operational environmentsExperience troubleshooting complex system issues across hardware, software, and network componentsExperience working with mission equipment, maintenance tools, and COTS systemsExperience using diagnostic and test equipment to identify and resolve system faultsDemonstrated understanding of operational requirements and ability to apply technical procedures in mission environments10+ years: Administering enterprise-level database systems in operational environmentsPerforming database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshootingManaging backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processesSupporting database security, access controls, and compliance requirementsIntegrating databases with applications and system architecturesWorking within DoD, DHS, or similar Federal environmentsPhysical DemandsAbility to work in operational environments supporting technical systemsMay require standing, walking, and limited lifting of equipmentAbility to travel and deploy to operational locations as requiredAdditional InformationTravel is required to support mission operations, system maintenance, and engineering activities across CBP operational locations. Personnel will deploy to sites including CAMOC in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and other CONUS and OCONUS locations to perform installation, troubleshooting, integration, and sustainment of C4I, AMOSS, ISR, and telecommunications systems.
Travel may be scheduled or occur on short notice in response to mission priorities or system outages. Duration may range from short-term temporary duty to extended support periods based on operational needs.
