AML Investigations AnalystA Global Financial Services firm is seeking an AML Investigations Analyst on a Temporary to Hire basis for their Newark, DE office location.Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:Conduct periodic internal account/customer reviews to identify potentially suspicious activityComplete analysis of transactional information to identify risks, trends and potential suspicious activityCompletely and accurately document steps taken through the investigation processInterface with bankers to obtain information related to their client's transaction activityHas responsibility for execution and/or implementation of projects, processes and initiativesWork with internal groups to ensure consistent understanding of requirementsFunction as a key contributor with demonstrated knowledge of AML/KYC issues, as well as broader functional knowledgePrepare Suspicious Activity Reports in compliance with established regulatory guidelines and time framesInterview customers when applicableCommunicate findings to managementEscalate cases to law enforcementEffectively obtain information and assistance from appropriate law enforcement agencies, peer banks, and other external groups on AML issues and casesParticipate in the development of goals and execution of strategies within the function or departmentMay provide training, coaching and review work of other investigatorsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, preferably in Cybersecurity, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Risk ManagementExpertise may also include: Audit, Control, Risk, Fraud, and ResearchStrong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of dataProven ability identifying key risk factors and issues/defects and recommending solutionsDemonstrated experience adhering to controls and compliance standardsWorking knowledge of AML typologies, and FinCEN, BSA and PATRIOT ACT statutesStrong Communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonalStrong analytical and research skillsResults-oriented Team PlayerAbility to multitask and meet deadlines against a high volume work scheduleMust be detail oriented, well organized, and a self-starterIntermediate level skills working with the MS Office suite of tools with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPointWorking knowledge of MS SharePoint
