Ames Plant Director

For our client, we are seeking a Ames Plant Director to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This leader will oversee plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. The role will guide cross-functional efforts across supply chain, environmental compliance, and operational planning to strengthen performance and customer value. The ideal candidate will bring deep manufacturing leadership experience and the ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution in a complex, on-site environment.

Location: Dekalb, IL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $250,253 - $305,864 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead a team focused on product development for global benefit
• Drive operational excellence in safety, quality, and employee relations
• Oversee compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Enhance customer value through effective supply chain management
• Develop strategic plans and budgets for continuous improvement
• Promote inclusive programs for employee engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Ten years of experience in quality, product/process/project engineering, or manufacturing
• Five years in a management role in a manufacturing setting
• Plant Manager or equivalent experience in a complex organization
• Experience and certification in Lean Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies
