Based at Columbia St. Mary's Family Health Center, this leadership role offers a rare, legacy-building opportunity to develop, design, and lead the ambulatory clinical training component for a brand-new Internal Medicine Residency Program.Shape the Future of GME: Build and pioneer the foundational ambulatory clinical training program for a newly launching Internal Medicine Residency, directly influencing its long-term operational and educational success.Drive Curriculum Innovation: Create and refine core educational curriculum while actively participating in scholarly activities and research that advance the program's academic mission.Mentor the Next Generation: Provide direct clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional development support to residents in the clinic setting, cultivating a culture of excellence and lifelong learning.Deliver High-Quality Clinical Care: Lead a dedicated outpatient panel within a structured, stable schedule (Monday–Friday, 0830–1700), modeling exemplary diagnostic acumen and compassionate patient-centered care.Foster Academic Excellence: Maintain alignment with institutional educational objectives, serving as a key academic partner to program leadership while sharpening your own skills as a medical educator.Additional PreferencesBoard Certification/Eligibility: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.Licensure: Eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin state medical license, DEA registration, and core GME faculty credentials.Core Competencies: Strong organizational and leadership skills are required.
