Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Amazon Connect Developer with strong experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting enterprise contact-center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS cloud services. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, IVR, ACD, call routing, skill-based routing, messaging, conversational technologies, AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, Kinesis, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and other AWS services. This role is expected to be onsite 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and support Amazon Connect contact-center solutions.
  • Develop and maintain call flows, contact flows, IVR solutions, routing strategies, and customer interaction workflows.
  • Design and implement Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) functionality.
  • Implement skill-based routing and advanced call-routing strategies.
  • Develop and support live-chat and messaging capabilities.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into Amazon Connect solutions.
  • Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Review, analyze, and document contact-center requirements and workflows.
  • Develop process-flow diagrams and technical documentation for contact-center solutions.
  • Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS services and enterprise applications.
  • Develop serverless components using AWS Lambda with Node.js, Python, and/or Java.
  • Develop conversational solutions using Amazon Lex and related natural-language processing capabilities.
  • Implement data streaming and analytics solutions using Amazon Kinesis Streams.
  • Work with AWS Glue for data processing and integration.
  • Configure and support AWS VPC-based solutions.
  • Develop event-driven integrations using Amazon SNS and Amazon EventBridge.
  • Work with AWS AppSync for application and API integrations.
  • Support data delivery and streaming using Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose.
  • Work with DynamoDB and DynamoDB Streams for application data and event processing.
  • Utilize AWS services such as Service Catalog and Kinesis Data Analytics as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience working with large-scale enterprise frameworks and application environments.
  • 7+ years of experience with AWS Cloud technologies.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
  • 3+ years of development experience using Node.js, Python, and/or Java.
  • 3+ years of experience with call-routing and messaging technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with IVR and ACD solutions.
  • Experience with skill-based routing.
  • Experience developing or supporting live-chat solutions.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with Amazon Lex and conversational bot/NLP technologies.
  • Experience with Amazon Kinesis Streams.
  • Experience with AWS Glue.
  • Experience with AWS VPC.
  • Experience with Amazon SNS and EventBridge.
  • Experience with Amazon AppSync.
  • Experience with Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose.
  • Experience with DynamoDB and DynamoDB Streams.
  • Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, and process-flow development skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Experience supporting enterprise contact-center transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with change management and business process transformation.
  • Experience with testing and validation of contact-center solutions.

  • Experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
  • Experience with additional AWS serverless, integration, analytics, and messaging services.
