Financial Reporting AnalystAre you ready to make an impact in the world of financial and regulatory reporting? We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven professional to join our team, where you will play a key role in the production, review, and filing of critical reports for regulatory agencies.As an Analyst in the Financial Reporting team, you will handle the oversight of financial statements and management reporting, ensuring a sound control environment. You will apply your accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements, coordinate the preparation of regulatory requirements, and validate balance sheet items. This role provides an opportunity to consolidate, review, and analyze financial data, communicate financial information to various business lines, and participate in the production and filing of reports for regulatory agencies.Job ResponsibilitiesApply up-to-date product, industry, market knowledge in specialty areas of financial reportingContribute to the preparation, review, and submission of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for alternative investment fund clients and their auditors, supporting regulatory efforts to compile key statistics on domestic and international portfolio positions and trendsPrepare, review, and analyze quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements for alternative investment funds in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, Lux GAAP, and other applicable standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness by performing quarter-over-quarter variance analyticsCoordinate data collection and quarterly business results with various lines of business, Regulatory Controllers and reporting teamsAssist in the thorough assessment of the issues and outcomesAdhere to proof & control procedures to ensure accurate reconciliation between regulatory filingsAdhere to various control procedures and edit checks to ensure the integrity of reported financial resultsEnsure accurate and complete data submission to the RegulatorsInterpret and define regulatory requirements and coordinate internal and external policiesEstablish and manage relationships with the line of business as well as with external regulatory agency constituents through ongoing partnership and dialogueParticipate in continuous improvement effort around data quality review and external reporting improvement projectsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills2+ years in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, and/or regulatory reportingBachelor degree required, degree preference is Accounting, Finance or EconomicsProfessional and proactive approach to work, problem solverThe ability to manage change and deliver resultsStrong communication skills - both verbal and writtenAttention to detailAbility to work independently and as a key member of a groupAbout UsJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
