Alternative Education School Secretary (Location is subject to change based upon student and/or district needs)

Job TitleJob DescriptionRequirements / QualificationsProof of high school diploma or equivalent, like the GED; proof of current hands on CPR and First Aid certification or proof of enrollment in a CPR and First Aid class that is no more than 2-3 weeks out, via an email confirmation from the place enrolled, a resume, and two (2) letters of recommendation that are dated less than two (2) years ago and signed with an actual signature, not electronically signed or left blank. Must pass testing appropriate to the position. Typing is required at 50 net wpm on a 5 minute timed test. As this time, we only accept typing certificates issued by Barstow Community College that are dated less than one year ago.

Typing will be offered on the day of the scheduled written test where applicants will have a 30-minute window to reach the required typing speed.All required documents must be submitted by the closing date and time of this posting. We have one (1) High School which is located here in Yermo. We have one (1) Alternative Education Center located in Daggett. Two (2) Elementary Schools both are located between 10 to 20 miles east of our District Office. We also have three (3) school sites located on our Military Base (Fort Irwin) which is approximately 40 miles north of our District Office.
