Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our Respiratory Therapy department, specializing in adult and pediatric critical care. The successful candidate will provide essential respiratory care services to patients in various settings, including ER, ICU, and CVICU.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including the management of ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow oxygen therapy.
- Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analyses and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
- Provide intubation assistance in all areas as needed.
- Administer treatments and therapies as per patient care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult critical care is required.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Tech (CRT) is acceptable.
Shift Details
- Nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with scheduling determined based on department needs and candidate availability.
- 12-hour shifts with a commitment to weekends and holidays.
- No solo shifts; you will work as part of a team.
Orientation and Training
New hires will undergo a one-day orientation followed by three days of department-specific training to ensure readiness for patient care.
Additional Requirements
- Floating between multiple locations may be required.
- Uniform: Black scrubs with no logos.
