Pharmacy - Director - Manager

Location: Newport, Oregon

Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5

Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension

Pay Rate: $88 - $95/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PHARM for a temporary assignment in Newport, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a PHARM:

• Maintain a system of management controls to ensure efficient and effective delivery of quality services by employees in assigned Pharmacy Departments

• Assist Pharmacy department employees and be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating department functions, activities, and costs

• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with established protocols

• Assess the clinical status of patients

• Provide drug information to the medical team

• Educate patients on medication use and drug therapy

• Maintain current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure

• Maintain Healthcare Provider Level BLS and ACLS certifications

• Apply leadership experience to guide and support pharmacy staff

• Optimize patient drug therapy through clinical decision-making

• Pass pre-employment/post offer drug screening
