Medical Technologist (ASCP) - Overland Park, KSEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary: The Medical Technologist (ASCP Registered) performs pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic laboratory testing in compliance with CLIA standards.Shifts Available:Evenings - 40 Hours/WeekNights (Weekends Only) - Thursday-Sunday (32 Hours/Week)Key Responsibilities:Perform waived, moderate, and high complexity testingConduct blood bank testing in an acute care hospital laboratoryEnsure accurate documentation and test reportingMaintain laboratory equipment and supply inventoryInvestigate unexpected or abnormal test resultsAssist in training laboratory staff and studentsMaintain compliance with safety and regulatory standardsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science OR Bachelor's degree with sub-specialty certification OR Grandfathered under CLIA 1988.Required Certification: ASCP (or equivalent such as CLS (NCA), BB(ASCP), C(ASCP), I(ASCP), H(ASCP), or M(ASCP))Minimum 1+ year of recent Blood Bank experience in an acute care hospital laboratory (non-acute care experience will not be considered)Benefits:Sign-On Bonus: $20,000Relocation Assistance: $5,000Shift Differentials:$2/hour Evenings$3/hour Nights$3/hour Weekends
