Carilion Clinic is seeking a motivated, energetic, and team-oriented Allergy and Immunology Physician to join a group of four physicians dedicated to providing excellent care to adult and pediatric patients in Roanoke, VA. This role offers a combination of face-to-face and telehealth outpatient visits with no inpatient call, alongside opportunities for academic appointment, scholarly activity, and research. The position is within the Division of Allergy and Immunology, Department of Internal Medicine, affiliated with the Virginia Tech Carilion Clinic School of Medicine.

Practice Info

  • Join a group of four physicians.
  • Provides full-scope care with focus on the diagnosis and management of environmental, food, drug and venom allergies, asthma, allergic skin conditions, urticaria, angioedema and immunodeficiencies.
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic services offered include skin prick and intradermal tests, patch, oral challenges, immunotherapy, biologic therapy, immune globulin replacement therapy, spirometry and more.
  • Combination of face-to-face and telehealth outpatient visits.
  • No inpatient call.
  • Opportunity is available for academic appointment, scholarly activity and research.

Compensation

  • Salary Range, $297,500 to $460,000.
  • Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs.
  • Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary.

  • CME - Specific time provided and that there is additional dollars for it.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited residency.
  • Board eligible or board certified in allergy and immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology or subspecialty certification in allergy and immunology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
