Allergist

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, is seeking a full-time Allergist to join its faculty. This role offers a highly motivated physician the opportunity to work with an urban, ethnically diverse, and underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The position involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a full spectrum of allergic conditions and immune disorders, with a focus on patient-centered healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage a full spectrum of allergic conditions and immune disorders
• Start with a built-in referral base and help grow the allergy service line
• Strive to provide the highest level of quality patient-centered healthcare to our diverse population

Compensation

• Faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications
• Compensation starts at $250,000
• Will include faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year
• Compensation range from $250,000 to $250,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Requirements

• MD/DO degree
• Fellowship in Allergy/Immunology
• Board certified in Otolaryngology
• Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
• Strong interest in research and clinical operations as there are a variety of opportunities for program development and advancement
• Strong clinical abilities, teaching experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems is preferred
