Allergist

The Department of Medicine, Division of Allergy Immunology and Rheumatology is seeking a Part-Time Allergist to join their academic faculty. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, supervising medical trainees, and engaging in scholarly activities. The position offers an academic faculty appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.

Practice Info

• Twenty-three-member faculty group with expertise in allergic disease, rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, SLE, Sjogren's Syndrome, scleroderma, clinical immunology, and MSK ultrasound
• Division is a leader in providing high quality care, designing and implementing innovative translational studies and clinical trials, and developing novel approaches in resident and fellowship education
• Six fully staffed clinic sites and three infusion centers
• Six advanced practice providers and a robust support staff including 25+ RN's

Responsibilities

• Patient care
• Supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students
• Scholarly endeavors

Compensation

• Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 a year
• Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries
• Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process
• $15K sign on bonus

Qualifications

• M.D. Degree or equivalent
• Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
• Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
• Must meet all credentialing requirements
• Eligible for Board Certification in Allergy
• Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
• Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
• Open to visa sponsorship
