Allergist

The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Barbara and Donald Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is seeking a BE/BC Allergist for an academic position at their Great Neck practice. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including children and adults with atopic diseases, primary immunodeficiency, and secondary/acquired immunodeficiency. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized team within a leading academic medical center, contributing to patient care and research.

Practice Info

• The Division of Allergy and Immunology treats a large population of children and adults with a wide variety of atopic diseases, genetically defined primary immunodeficiency disease, and secondary/acquired immunodeficiency disease.
• The Division houses a Jeffrey Modell Diagnostic Center with a fully staffed research laboratory in The Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research.
• The team includes 9 Internal Medicine and Pediatrics A&I faculty members, 4 fellows in an ACGME accredited A&I fellowship program, 3 PAs, 1 FNP, a Doctor of Pharmacy, and 5 nurses.
• There are 4 centers of excellence in the A&I Division: the Food Allergy Center, the Drug Allergy and Desensitization Center, the Pediatric Asthma Center, and the Primary Immunodeficiency Disease Center.

Compensation

• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, impacted by various factors including physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.
