To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time Alaska Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of psychiatric conditions while working remotely from anywhere in Alaska, with a focus on providing timely care to underserved populations. Key responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using evidence-based practices, including prescribing medications and delivering psychotherapeutic interventions Collaborate with subspecialty psychiatrists and clinical pharmacists on complex cases and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning Complete accurate documentation for patient encounters in a timely manner, adhering to clinic policies and regulatory requirements Required qualifications MSN or DNP with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialization Board certification as a PMHNP-BC Active, unrestricted Alaska Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for one before the start date Clinical experience diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions A home setup that supports private, reliable telehealth visits
