Key responsibilities Collects, posts, and manages patient account payments and prepares patient statements Codes medical claims accurately and sends them electronically to insurance payers daily Handles inbound and outbound calls regarding insurance verification and patient inquiries Required qualifications Official High School Transcripts, Diploma, or Equivalency Certificate Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while handling phone calls CPB or other Medical Billing Certification desired, but not required CPC or Medical Coding Certification desired, but not required
