Supporting corporate accounting functions, the full-time Alabama Licensed Accountant will manage project billing processes, oversee cash receipt applications, and assist with month-end close activities, working in a hybrid environment based in Huntsville, AL. Key responsibilities Manage the project billing process for assigned contracts, including reviewing transaction reports and submitting bills to customers Oversee daily cash receipt applications and monitor cash inflow for timely payments Complete recurring and adjusting journal entries, perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare sales and use tax reports Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field 3 to 5 years of government contract accounting experience Experience with project billing and month-end close processes Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint (or similar systems like Unanet, SAP, or GFEBS)
