Aircraft Systems TechnicianJanicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for an Aircraft Systems Technician to join our growing team.This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State.POSITION DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for Aircraft Systems Technicians at all levels to work offsite at our Hamilton, Washington Facility. The Aircraft Systems Technician positions involve the execution of various electrical systems install, fluid systems install and general aircraft systems tasks. Aircraft Systems Technicians at all levels are required to follow directions carefully, have basic mechanical knowledge, manual dexterity, good eyesight and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.The following essential job functions are performed as an Aircraft Systems Technician:Reads, interprets, and follows pass downs, work orders, isometric drawings, blueprints, work instructions and other technical and non-technical documentsReceives and carries out directions from designated supervisorsParticipates in training, safety, and quality programsKeeps work orders stamped, dated and organizedElectrical Harness routing & inspection, repairs & modifications, electrical soldering & inspection, electrical bonding & inspection, ground network installationAerospace style electrical connection installation and testing support, anti-chafing wrap installationElectrical Equipment installation and Electrical System continuity testingHardline tube routing and fit-up and titanium, aluminum, and SS tube swagingThreaded fitting install, torquing, and sealingOxygen tube installation and ECS ducting installationLeak checking and pressure test supportFollows Janicki Industries Rules and Safety Practices and keep work areas clean and organizedFollows 5S, AS9100 and Nadcap standards and practices throughout all work performedMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly, FOD free conditionHas knowledge of and ability to use common hand tools for assembly components per verbal, written, and drawing requirementsSets up scaffolding and safety barriers under directionMust work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlinesMust be at work on time and maintain good attendance.

This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the jobPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSDue to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed.

Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEMinimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GEDPrevious aircraft systems experience highly encouragedPrior military experience encouragedMust have the ability to read, understand and follow work orders, written procedures, blueprints, drawings, and other technical documentsMust have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English languageADDITIONAL INFORMATIONWage range for this role is between $23 - $40 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role.
