We believe there is strength in unity, and we work together as a team to achieve ambitious goals.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain, modify, and install the various components of aircraft sheet metal.Repair, rework, install and fabricate the complex aircraft structural assemblies, both internal and external.Lay out plans, fabrication and installation models for modifications.Perform checks; carry out inspections and removal of components.Study technical manuals, blueprints and engineering drawings.Provide assistance to aircraft maintenance technicians on various tasks.Remove and disassemble defective parts of the aircraft.Perform final checks on assembly and installation of parts that were replaced.Maintain and keep track of all the maintenance records.Adhere to Company policies and safety programs.Maintain the supplies and perform preventive maintenance.Assist in maintaining the Repair Station facilities in a clean and orderly fashion. Ensures that all shop equipment and tools are maintained in a serviceable working condition.Other duties as assigned by managementPhysical RequirementsFrequent stooping, bending, and kneeling.Ability to stand on feet for extended periods.Lift and carry objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally (with assistance).Ability to climb stairs, scaffolding, and/or ladders of varying heights without assistance.Ability to work in cramped spaces and awkward positions as required.Tolerance to noise, vibration, and outdoor weather conditions.Ability to wear protective gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.Work EnvironmentAirport ramp/warehouse environment subject to varying weather conditions.Regular exposure to aircraft noise and vibrations when testing engines.Fast-paced operational setting requires attention to safety, accuracy, and timelinessQualificationsBe at least 18 years of age.Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.Must understand, read, and write English.
Ability to understand, read, and write Spanish is a plus but not required.Possess high school diploma or GED certificationTwo (2) or more years of prior experience is preferred.Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.FAA Airframe & Powerplant license or adequate work experience for FAA authorization for Repairman Certificate is required.Able to operate warehouse machinery and equipmentAble to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.Able to pass a DOT Pre-Employment drug screening and submit to random DOT drug and/or alcohol testing.Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
