nWe're hiring anAircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Air Evac Lifeteam. This technician will be qualified to support our airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
nResponsibilities
nAircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
nManage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
nClearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
nTake pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
nUse appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
nWork collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
nMinimum Required Qualifications
nTwo (2) years turbine powered helicopter experience
nValid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent
nValid State issued Driver's License
nFederal Aviation Regulations knowledge
nEMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
nAbility to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
nMust be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
nMust be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
nMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
nPreferred Qualifications
nBell 206, Bell 407, EC130, EC135 maintenance experience
nFAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
nRelated experience under CFR Part 135
nAutopilot maintenance experience
nAvionics and electrical repair experience
