Aircraft Electrical Technician - Wire HarnessWe are hiring an Aircraft Electrical Technician in San Antonio, TX, to support aircraft wire harness fabrication, avionics wiring installation, electrical modification, and depot-level maintenance operations in a defense aerospace environment. This role requires experience with aircraft electrical systems, wire routing, schematics, connector terminations, and green aircraft wiring installations, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.Responsibilities:Execute connector terminations (shielded wire, coaxial, fiber optic)Perform wire harness fabrication, routing, and installation (including non-prewired aircraft)Apply sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure techniques per standard processesRead and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wire diagrams, technical orders, and retrofit instructionsConduct electrical modifications, repairs, and depot-level maintenanceUse tooling, fixtures, and assemblies for wiring repair and modificationComplete assembly, installation, inspection, and operational/quality checks on aircraft electrical systemsTroubleshoot aircraft electrical and communication/navigation (com/nav) systemsFollow standard work instructions, job layouts, charts, and electronic ordersCoordinate material, tooling preparation, and movementOperate powered elevating equipment (e.g., lifts)Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permitsPerform duties across lower electrical classifications as neededAdhere to all safety and hazardous material handling proceduresQualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GEDAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance4+ years of aircraft electrical experience4+ years applying electrical/electronic theory and systems knowledgeWire harness fabrication, routing, and installationExperience routing wiring on aircraft without pre-installed wiring (green aircraft preferred)Ability to work rotating shifts (1st/2nd/3rd), weekends, and overtimePreferred Qualifications:Experience with Depot Level/Modification maintenance.Operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipment to accomplish work assignment.Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.Final position level and pay will be based on experience.
