Air Quality Program ManagerEmployment Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Location: Oak Ridge, TN (or Remote) Annual Salary Range (DOE): $100,000 – $125,000Position SummaryProject technical work will primarily consist of leading environmental engineering support in Air Quality Compliance and Engineering to support both government and commercial clients at multiple locations.The position will require proficiency in understanding and interpreting air quality regulations and their application to a clients facility and operations, development of air quality permits (New Source Review, Title V, permit by rule or equivalent, new construction or modifications, etc.), performing air quality data management (emissions calculations, emissions inventories, database management, etc.), regulatory report development/submittals, and other AQ tasks.In addition to the primary Air Quality role, the position may also require periodic/as needed support in other engineering areas to support multiple projects. This may include other environmental media (water, RCRA, etc.) as well as general engineering support (basic mechanical, chemistry, electrical, etc.).The position will entail a multi-disciplined approach for engineering projects across different market sectors and project opportunities.The candidate will be engaged in various aspects of project from initial client meetings to understand client needs to implementing one or more aspects of the project (e.g., proposal development, pricing development, engineering design, research, project management, etc.).Other business responsibilities will be to lead new proposal efforts, budget development, schedule maintenance, frequent interaction with other contractor companies and/or regulatory agencies.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering7+ years of experience working with air quality tasks and projectsWell versed in air quality permitting, air engineering, and air regulatory understanding at both state and federal levels.Proficient in MS Office Suite (365)Experienced in Technical Proposal DevelopmentExperienced in Budget Development/ManagementEnvironmental Engineering /Regulatory Compliance: AirGovernment Experience: Department of Defense (DoD), State/Local Environmental RegulationsCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 Per Year
