Nadine Johnson Elementary School Primary Purpose:
Assist a certified teacher in providing instruction to individuals or small groups of students in a classroom or other learning environment. Assist in preparing instructional materials and perform a variety of routine clerical duties as assigned. Work under supervision of certified teacher.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED Valid Texas educational aide certificate or willing to obtain certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work well with children
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
Experience:
One to three years' experience working with children
