The Wayne County Schools Career Center is accepting applications for the position of:
Aide- Career Technical Classroom/ Lab
STARTING DATE: Upon hire
SALARY: Per the Board of Education approved hourly pay scale
REPORTS TO: Career & Technical Education Supervisor
WORK WEEK/YEAR: As per board-adopted calendar-5 3/4 hours per day, Mon-Fri. when school is in session. Part-time, no benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or proof of graduation.
• A high interest in working with high school students. Must have the ability to interact effectively and proactively with students, staff, and the public.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability and stamina to be on feet and actively moving for entire day.
• Should be able to organize work schedule and work independently with minimal supervision.
• BCI and FBI criminal records results less than one-year old must be submitted prior to initial employment and as required thereafter.
• Maintain current Educational Aide permit with required endorsement.
