Title: AI Tech Lead

Duration: Long Term

Location: Washington, DC

Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon

The client is looking for an AI Tech Lead with 10+ years of software engineering experience and a strong background in both AI and application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade AI/Generative AI solutions while also being capable of leading technical teams.

Must-Have Skills:

10+ years of software engineering/application development experience.
Strong development background in .NET/C#/Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
5+ years of Azure/AWS Cloud and modern application architecture.
Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Azure OpenAI).
Experience building Agentic AI and RAG solutions.
Hands-on with LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, MCP, or similar frameworks.
Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, AKS, Containers, Cosmos DB, SQL, REST APIs, and Microservices.
Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering projects using Agile/Scrum.
