You Have:
5+ years of experience with artifi cia l intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, or sof tware engineering
5+ years of experience with programming, including in Python
Experience with deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or agentic AI
Experience and comfort with independent, self-directed research
Knowledge of modern sof tware design patterns, including microservice design
Ability to lead and supportthe day-to-day execution of technology assessment efforts, including analysis comparing alternatives, characterization and quantification of performance, and comprehension and development of requirements based on mission needs
Ability to quickly learn about and distill a wide variety of complex technical topics into core concepts understandable by general audiences
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
Nice If You Have:
Experience leading technical development and technical research teams
Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies such as LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph
Master’s degree in a STEM field preferred ; Doctorate degree in a STEM fielda plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
