To ensure the safe integration of AI technologies, the full-time remote Applied AI Security Engineer will audit AI tool usage, design security guardrails, and collaborate with teams to implement secure workflows across the organization. Key responsibilities Audit AI tools and integrations, mapping their interactions with sensitive systems and data to define security policies Design and implement layered security measures, such as prompts and sandboxing, to manage AI behavior before user interaction Partner with users to integrate secure-by-default practices into AI-assisted workflows, ensuring written policies are actionable Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Professional software development experience with a solid understanding of services, APIs, and permissions Hands-on experience with AI coding/productivity tools in business-critical workflows Working knowledge of automotive security and safety standards, such as UNECE R155 and ISO 26262 Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with engineering teams
